Great place, Bubba’s!   Two locations to choose from, Baan Tai is their original shop and their second location is in Haad Yao, both are really good.  The owner, Robin has a wonderful philosophy, in that he loves to give credit to his staff and suppliers for the wonderful products he both sources and creates with his staff.    This is something unique, refreshing and wonderful in this crazy food and beverage business.

The Haad Yao location is where they roast coffee.   Budda’s has one of the largest coffee roasting facilities on Koh Phangan and they do it well.   They source their own coffee beans from the North of Thailand, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Tal Provinces.   

All their food is delicious and fresh.   Lots of Brunch like items on the menu, from Avocado Toast, to Potato Hash, all yum!   Their Eggs Benedict or Royale (with smoked Salmon) are delicious.     All Egg dishes are made with Free Range Eggs here, a big plus!

They have a good chicken salad and their Ruben is also scrumptious.   

Come and enjoy, you’ll be glad you did!

I Love this place.    Both the food and the atmosphere are home-runs for me.    And the fact that the large majority of the menu is created and prepared from produce Organically grown on their own farm, hence Seed to Feed, I find even more appealing.    

I often eat one of their wonderfully delightful Organic Salads with one of their homemade dressings.    Often adding some Fries and Garlic Bread, which are both Fantastic and an indulgence, I really enjoy giving myself.

All their Salads and Dressing are Wonderful, try them all.     Their Thai food, really good too.

Sandwiches here are good as well and their sides, as I mentioned before, Garlic Bread to die for, good French Fries and Edamame to snack on.

All Good and Wholesome food prepared and served here.    And All in a warm, Organic environment that is both comforting and peaceful.

Haad Son Restaurant and Resort is a definite place to check out while on Koh Phangan.   The Resort is lovely but the Restaurant divine.     It’s Restaurant location sits upon a rocky peninsula and if you’d like to, you can jump or dive into the sea from the rocks above, it is safe to do so.   There are steps to easily get up from the sea back to the restaurant.

Getting to the restaurant is part of the fun of it.    You can enter from the beach or from the resort parking area.  Either way, you follow a really Gorgeous path through Beautiful landscaping, overlooking the sea.     Really romantic, Really beautiful, Really not to be missed.

And their food is decent too.    Their menu is varied, offering traditional Thai dishes and many Western dishes as well.     Fresh, cold Coconuts are available to drink, they have all sorts of beverages, including smoothies and shakes.    

All in all, a place on Koh Phangan not to be missed.

Buddha Cafe in Haad Salad is a lovely cafe with good food and good vibes.    

Located in the sleepy town of Haad Salad, you’ll find Buddha Cafe half way down the road, up the stairs, on the Right, next to the dive shop.

Buddha Cafe is more than a cafe with good food, it is a community center with lots to offer.    They have a calendar of events and classes available.  

For food, check out their Nutella Stuffed Pancakes or Eggs Benedict with Salted Potatoes for breakfast.    Their Poached Eggs on Avocado Toast is really good too.  Another good and good for you Toast is their Buddha Toast, topped with delicious goodness.

If you’re looking for something more substantial, their Chicken Parmesan with Mashed beetroot and Mushroom sauce is really good, they even have Mac & Cheese for the young or nostalgic.

Give it a try, worthwhile.

Really good place to eat fresh, Homemade Italian Pasta Dishes.   All their pastas are made fresh, using traditional artisan methods.    They even dry their pasta in-house so their customers can take it home and enjoy freshly made pasta in the comfort of their homes.

Italian born and trained Chef Andrea is always busy at work doing what he loves to do, cooking and creating his culinary wonders and he does it well.

All pasta is made fresh daily and is all hand made, in the age old, painstaking tradition of his homeland Italy.

Try the Tortelli ala Patata Delce (Sweet Purple Potato).   Their Cannelloni is divine, as is their fresh Seafood Pasta.   And the Ravioli’s, delicioso!

All is Yummy here and the staff Warm, Welcoming, Friendly and Effeicient.
