A’s Famous is really that Famous!!   And for good reason.   It is located in the heart of Thong Sala, right across from the Bank intersection, near the Pier.    Michael, an expat American and his Thai wife Sophie run the place and Michael, with his great smile and welcoming way is there all the time to meet and greet you, serve you and make your eating experience a pleasant and memorable one.

Food here is outstanding!     Everyday is shopping day for Michael and his crew, as they go to market to find the freshest items to prepare and serve.    They do all their baking on premises including American style bagels, English Muffins and an array of other baked goods, All of which are outstanding.    I never leave after eating here without a few goodies to go with me.

And what’s more they make their own Horseradish sauce, BBQ sauce and  Grainy Mustard.   All of which are for sale to take home with you, which I highly recommend.    

All the food here is really good.    I love the Bagel and Lox platter, but their Spanish Omelette is fantastic and very filling, (did I mention the portions are really large!).   Also try their Caesar Chicken Salad, Burger’s are terrific and their Roast Beef Sandwich, yum.    

It’s All Good here folks, you will not be disappointed…..A+ for A’s Famous

Here you’ll find a small gym but one that has all the equipment you need for a workout.

If you’re staying in Chaluklum and want somewhere convenient and quiet, this might be the place for you.

Evolve is located in Sri Thanu and offers Personal Training, Muay Thai Boxing classes, Kettle-Bell Training and Yoga classes.

It is an open gym concept, so all equipment is exposed to the elements, meaning no walls.   This offers more air flow and sometimes even a breeze to come through.

The gym is well equipped and maintained.

This a really large, well kept and maintained gym. It is divided into the typical gym section, which is very well fitted out, with many excellent machines and free weights. Then there is the Muay Thai section with a ring.

Because the gym is so large, there is usually no wait time for either the machines or free weights.

There is not Air-Conditioning here, but lots of fans. Be prepared to sweat!

Podium Gym is located in Baan Tai just across from the First Western Hospital on Baan Tai Road, just after and between Makro and Big C, on the same side of the street.

Podium is a clean gym with good equipment and is Air-Conditioned! It isn’t the largest gym but has all the machines and free weights one would need for a good workout.

They have a health bar in the gym where you can order protein shakes.

All the equipment is kept very clean and maintained well.

Nice Gym. Showers and Lockers available. Towels provided.
